Our family-owned company, now in its second generation, was founded in 1972 by senior boss DI Werner Lorenz and has established itself as an integral part of the international civil engineering industry over the years.

Our core markets are the DACH region (Germany-Austria-Switzerland) and the Alpine-Adriatic area (Southern Austria-Slovenia-Northern Italy).

DECADES OF EXPERIENCE
1972
Lorenz Consult was founded as a civil engineering office for construction by Mr. DI Werner Lorenz. His exceptional technical talent for successfully solving structurally demanding tasks laid the foundation for long-standing client relationships, many of whose trust we continue to enjoy to this day.
1980
the company began to strategically expand into general planning by extending its expertise to project management and construction supervision. This was followed by the establishment of a department for structural engineering design.
2000
DI Christian Lorenz joined the family business. His civil engineering authorization in industrial engineering with a focus on mechanical engineering led to the expansion of the company’s services to include domestic engineering design. As a result, the engineering office is now able to cover almost all construction-related services with its own core staff.
2013
the long-standing employee, Mr. DI Gerald Dabernig, became a partner in business management. His education as a civil engineer contributes to the ongoing continuity and professionalism of Lorenz Consult.
2022
In 2022 we celebrated our 50th anniversary with an exclusive event filled with extraordinary highlights, culinary delights, and great entertainment. The entire team, friends, and clients toasted to the company’s eventful history at the event, given the title “Welcome to the golden circle”. At the same time, DI Werner Lorenz handed over the management to his son, DI Christian Lorenz, and entered a well-deserved retirement.
